What does it take to be the number one sales team at Jellis Craig?  

As the real estate market goes into a six week, late-winter hibernation, the accolades keep flowing for the one and only Carla Fetter! 

In contrast to previous years’ black tie dinners and cocktail parties, this year’s awards were rather meek and modest, consisting of an 11 minute YouTube video announcing the winners from 2019/20.

While the venue had changed (from The Glasshouse to my kitchen/iPhone) and the guest count had changed (from 500+ to just me) and the dress code had changed (from cocktail to trackies), the winners were the same!

Number one sales agent – Carla Fetter

Number one sales team (non director) – Team Fetter

This is across the entire 26 office network of over 350 sales agents.

Quite the feat!

It’s been said on this forum numerous times, but it bears repeating.

With 16 years experience and an incredible reputation, Carla Fetter has well and truly established herself as one of the top agents in the country, and certainly one of the most successful and most liked agents in Stonnington!

So what did it take to be the number one team for 2019/20?

89 sales totalling $174,169,500, with an average sale price of $1,956,960.

A highest sale price of $4,300,000, lowest sale price of $635,000 and an average of just 22 days on market.

And 20 of these sales were off market.

Not even a pandemic could slow Team Fetter down, with 30 of the 89 sales occurring after restrictions came in (from March to June).

As Carla would say, this was a team effort and she couldn’t have done it without the amazing Stef Nicolaou, our team operations manager; Adam Walker, our hard working buyer specialist who joined us in Furary; and me, Carla’s second-in-command, auctioneer, deal maker, email writer.

It’s been a big year and we would like to thank all our amazing clients who make our job so rewarding and enjoyable.

2020/2021 could be a trying year for many. Real estate will no doubt take a back seat in people’s lives who are facing more pressing and immediate challenges.

But you can’t stop the real estate market.

And if we can continue to help people navigate the often stressful and emotional journey that comes with buying and selling a house, then it will be another good year for us.
