It’s been a big week for Team Fetter/Sciola with five properties transacting in the last seven days and yet more accolades for our very own superstar agent, Carla Fetter.
We sold three houses before auction (two of which in boardroom auctions with multiple bidders), one off market, and one under the hammer at a phenomenal auction on Saturday in front of a big crowd, in spite of the Arctic conditions.
30 Aintree Road, Glen Iris saw five bidders competing fiercely, with well over 100 bids, to sell for close to $2,000,000, for a picturesque freestanding three bed, one bath Edwardian single front on 330sqm.
This result was well above expectation and our advice on value back in 2021 in the absolute peak of the market.
It just goes to show you what can happen with competition when demand is high and stock is tight.
The clearance rate was again 80 percent across Jellis Craig, and 78 percent according to the REIV. Same old story – strong results on low volume.
The 2023 REB (Real Estate Business) Awards were announced this week and Carla Fetter finished third in Victoria, her best ever ranking in the REB.
To put this in perspective, there are over 10,000 agents in Victoria, and in this particular ranking there were only two other agents (teams) in the state who sold more real estate in terms of total value of sales.
At over $300million in transactions across 134 sales, with an average sale price of $2,309,000, last year was an incredible tour de force for Carla and her team of now five.
This year is looking a bit quiet in comparison, but it’s been really nice to see our kids once in a while!
Four of the top 10 agents were from Jellis Craig, demonstrating the strength of our 30 office network across multiple markets.
Congratulations, Carla!
Take a short pause for 10 minutes to acknowledge your achievements, and then get back to work, please!
These houses don’t sell themselves anymore…
